Welcome to CEMEX’s Coldharbour Lane website where you can find more information about our plans to deliver a new country park, multi-use community/sports field, changing/toilet facilities and a public car park alongside around 40 new homes at our former gravel extraction site to the north of Coldharbour Lane and east of Ten Acre Lane in Thorpe.

The Site is included as an allocation within the Thorpe Neighbourhood Plan (Policy TH2(iii)). The Thorpe Neighbourhood Plan has passed successfully through examination and Runnymede Borough Council have agreed that it can proceed to referendum once Covid-19 restrictions have been lifted. This will be on 6 May 2021.

CEMEX has developed proposals for the Site that positively respond to the requirements of the allocation in the Thorpe Neighbourhood Plan. We are now seeking the views of the local community on these proposals in advance of submitting a planning application to Runnymede Borough Council.

We had hoped to be able to meet face to face for this consultation but unfortunately due to the on-going Covid-19 restrictions we have taken the decision to hold our consultation primarily on-line.

Information on the proposals can be found on the following pages. The project team would be pleased to answer questions directly and can be contacted using the details at the bottom of this page.

We will update this website to include new/ additional information and project updates as and when available. If you would like to be kept up to date with our emerging plans, please register here.
